Classic 1940s Old European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring

Heavy curved triple prongs hold a very pretty .91ct old European cut diamond between glittering baguette diamond sides. The straight baguettes are bar set in canted cathedral shoulders. The platinum ring's sculpted top tapers towards the band in a lovely arc. This classic engagement ring will pair beautifully with a vintage band. Circa 1940.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $8700.

Diamond Details.....The center diamond is .91ct, Old European Cut, SI1 clarity and I-J color. The side diamonds are straight baguettes with a .23tcw.

Details.....Currently a size 4.5. The top of the ring measures 6.2mm by 16.4mm and the band is 1.9mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
