A dozen vivacious old mine-cut diamonds sparkle and shine in this delightful Edwardian engagement ring. The antique diamonds have a .75tcw; they are chunky and funky, with the unique faceting pattern that makes these old stones special. The largest diamond sits within a halo of seven smaller stones. The cluster is displayed in a hexagonal head that crowns a dome of ornately worked platinum. Pierced spirals glitter with frosty milgrain engraving. Four additional diamonds are set in the sides of the dome. Fabulous foliate engraving girds the shank, this ring is a delight from every angle. Circa 1900.
Details.....A size 5.5, this ring cannot be sized without damaging the engraving on the band. The top of the ring measures 17.7mm by 11.9mm and the band is 1.7mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
