Cushion Cut Sapphire and Diamond Ring

The beautiful clear cornflower blue cushion cut sapphire dates from the late 19thc and looks perfect in it's 1940's platinum setting. The sapphire is flanked by sparkling white tapered baguette diamonds. A classic engagement ring with the most fabulous twist. Uniquely beautiful.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $6200.

Diamond Details.....The sapphire is a 2.16ct cushion cut, a transparent medium blue. The flanking diamonds are tapered baguette cuts .19tcw, VS clarity and G-H color. 

Details.....Currently a size 5.75. The top of the ring measures 16.1mm by 7mm and the band is 2.1mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
