Cushion Cut Sapphire & Baguette Diamond Ring

This stunning estate ring features a 3.78ct cushion cut sapphire flanked by 1tcw of dazzling baguette diamonds. The incredible gemstone is prong set, raised over eight diamonds in step-side shoulders. The step-sides graduate slightly atop a 1.8mm band. This substantial ring is crafted in buttery 18k gold; it is big, bold, and beautiful. The Australian sapphire has a fabulous color, blue with a hint of grayish green, and shows no sign of heat treatment.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $9500.

Gem Details... The Australian sapphire is a 3.78ct brilliant cut-step cut cushion, transparent, with blue 6/3 medium dark, very slightly grayish/greenish blue color. It shows no indication of heating. GIA report number 2231430996. Eight straight baguette diamonds have a 1tcw, with VVS-VS clarity and H-I color.

Details... Currently a size 6. The top of the ring measures 19.7mm by 8.7mm, and the band is 1.8mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
