Dramatic Sapphire Toi et Moi Ring in Platinum

Toi et Moi, French for you and me, is the romantic name given to rings that pair two center gemstones. Two velvety blue sapphires nuzzle each other in this dramatic example, the 1.61tcw gems are set in a striking platinum bypass setting. The ring's curvaceous surround is exquisitely engraved and spangled with 16 sparkling accent diamonds. The low-profile, east/west oriented top of this ring sits over a gracefully tapered band. Circa 1940.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $4400.

Gem Details.....One sapphire weighs .93ct, the other weighs .81ct. The 1.61tcw round faceted stones are slightly included, transparent, with a vB 6/3 color. Sixteen .75tcw accent diamonds with round brilliant, old European and single cuts have VS-SI clarity and G-H-I color.

Details.....Currently a size 9.5. The top of the ring measures 18.7mm by 13.2mm, and the band is 1.1mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
