Lovely OEC Diamond and Sapphire 3-stone Ring

This gorgeous three-stone ring centers a marvelous natural blue sapphire. The oval sapphire is flanked by two sparkling Old European Cut diamonds. The gems are all set in six-prong platinum heads, displaying the stones to maximum advantage. The sleek, gently tapered body of the ring is 14k yellow gold. This would make a romantic engagement ring; three-stone rings have been popular since the mid 1800s and are said to represent three little words: I Love You. Circa 1910.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $4950.

Diamond Details.....The sapphire is a .71ct oval faceted cut, a medium blue. The flanking diamonds are old European cuts with 1.07tcw, SI clarity and I-J color.

Details.....Currently a size 7. The top of the ring measures 14.9mm by 7.2mm and the band is 1.5mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
