Ravishing Emerald & Diamond Retro Ring

A ravishing Retro ring set with an enchanting emerald and dazzling diamonds. The bold 14k gold band is bezel set with a square .81ct emerald. Six old European cut accent diamonds are set vertically in a palladium plate on one side of the emerald, with three additional diamonds set horizontally in raised palladium on the other. The chunky, squared-off top of the ring tapers slightly into a wide, flat band. The Retro design movement produced a fresh jewelry style inspired by the industrial forms seen during the Second World War. Circa 1940.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $3800.

Gem Details... The square faceted emerald weighs .81ct, with moderately included clarity and medium, very slightly grayish, green (G 5/3) color. Nine old European cut diamonds have a .53tcw, with SI1 to I1 clarity and an H-I-J color range.

Details... Currently a size 7. The top of the ring measures 19mm by 8.4mm, and the band is 4.9mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
