Refined Granat Bros. Diamond & Platinum Engagement Ring

A refined Art Deco engagement ring from Granat Bros. Delicate platinum metal work and a gorgeous old diamond make this ring special. The 0.33ct old European cut diamond sits in a square head atop a pierced and engraved platinum panel. A fleur de lis-type pattern, set with six little accent diamonds, embellish the sides. The decorative top of the ring sits over a delicately pierced gallery and a slim knife edge band. The construction of this elegant ring is wonderful. Circa 1930.

Granat Bros. are American jewelers who got their start in 1905 when brothers Joseph and Leo Granat opened their first store in Stockton, California. Granat manufactured a many types of jewelry and other fine accessories. In the 1950s-60s, they won the Diamond International Award for Excellence in Creative Designs for eight consecutive years.
