Rubies & Diamonds in 18k White Gold Band

Rich red rubies and sparkling diamonds span the top of this lively vintage ring. Five rubies are prong set horizontally across the 18k white gold ring's open gallery. Two rows of four prong-set diamonds run above and below the rubies. Split shoulders taper into a slender grooved band. A perfect anniversary gift, particularly for the 40th. Circa 1940.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $2600.

Gem Details.....Five round faceted rubies have a .95tcw, with Slightly to Moderately Included clarity and Medium dark, Very Slightly Brownish, slightly purplish Red (slpR 6/3) color. Eight round brilliant cut diamonds have a .51tcw, with VS1-2 clarity and G-H-I color. 

Details.....Currently a size 4.75. The top of the ring measures 18.6mm by 8.8mm, and the band is 1.3mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
