Tapered Baguette Diamonds in Heavy 18k Gold Band

Tapered baguette diamonds are channel set across the top of this heavy 18k gold band. Eleven brilliant baguettes alternate to create a zigzagging row that looks a little bit like a shark's grin. The band has a peaked profile that gives the diamonds prominence, the rounded top of the ring tapers into a flat shank. This is a substantial statement piece that is both beautiful and tough. Circa 1970.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $6200.

Diamond Details.....Eleven tapered baguette cut diamonds have a .98tcw, with VS1-2 clarity and G-H-I color. 

Details.....Currently a size 7.5. The top of the ring measures 6.3mm wide and tapers to a 3.3mm band. In Very Good Vintage Condition. Small imperfections are to be expected and are considered part of the charm.
