A fierce Mexican brooch with a pre-Columbian motif. Two Aztec warriors in magnificent headdresses brandish weapons (a club and an axe) while trampling a snake underfoot. The round brooch is crafted in sterling silver overlay with bright high points and oxidized low points. Engraved details bring the scene to life. The brooch finishes with a rollover clasp and bale. The back is marked "Sterling Mexico." Circa 1950.
Details.....The brooch measures 1.97" in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
