An austere gunmetal guard chain necklace, embellished with dreamy pearls. The long paperclip chain ends in a small watch hook. Four oval blister pearls have an uncanny silvery nacre; they are set in Arts & Crafts-aesthetic links and stationed symmetrically along the chain. The juxtaposition of crude, blackened links with the creamy pearls creates a striking effect. The watch hook displays your favorite pendants and allows the chain to be worn doubled. Circa 1890.
Details.....The chain is 34" long, the links are 3.3mm wide, and the stations measure 1.25" by .45". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect some wear with all antique and vintage pieces; we consider it to be part of their charm.
