Fertility deity Kokopelli dances and plays his flute, suspended on a sterling silver cable chain. Kokopelli wears a robe of black onyx inlay striped with fiery green opal. He hangs from a generously sized, engraved bale. Marked "Sterling" on the back. Circa 1980.
Kokopelli is a sacred figure from Southwestern Native American lore. He is a trickster and music spirit, often depicted as a humpbacked flute player carrying seeds to bring fertility and abundant harvests.
Details.....The chain is 16" long, Kokopelli measures .80" by 1.86", 2.2" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
