The turn of the 20th Century prompted great interest in the astronomical wonders of the sky, and this interest was often translated into the jewels of the time. Just like the Victorians, I am fascinated by it. These earrings were inspired by the comet Daniel that streaked thru the skies in 1909.
Our comet stud earrings are available in 14k white, rose or yellow gold. Each is set in the center with a tiny vintage diamond. The comets are designed to swoop up the ear.
These earrings are exclusively ours. Each piece from our 720 line of jewelry is hand cast and hand finished here in Portland using recycled gold from a certified green refinery.
Details.....The comets measure 11.3mm long and 4.9mm wide.
