The Perfect Petite Lorgnette Charm

Lorgnettes were a must-have accessory for 19th-century ladies, and this petite version will rekindle the fashion. A perfect miniature version of the hand-held spectacles sans the glass. Engraved pinstripes embellish the case with a tiny plain space at the front, almost as if waiting to be engraved (though it's a bit small for that). The entire charm is made of 14k yellow gold, and the wire rim "glasses" fold in and out but always peek from the case, making clear what they imitate. A darling charm for a lover of antique fashions. Circa 1930.
