This unusual opal ring brings a lot of drama to the table. The large, oval opal has deep blue, purple and green fire that flares out from pitch black matrix. The striking stone is displayed in a deep sterling silver bezel; the bezel's side is engraved with the word "Opal" on a field of stippled texture. Its heavy half-round band is adjustable, one side of the shank is open. Circa 1980.
Details.....An approximate size 7, the band is somewhat adjustable. The top of the ring measures 18mm by 30mm, and the band is 4.7mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
