A very pretty sterling silver English medal fob. The front of the medal has a shield engraved with the letters C.W. The back is engraved: HOSPITAL FETE S.J.A.B. 1932. S.J.A.B. likely refers to the St. John Ambulance Brigade, a charitable organization founded in 1887 to provide uniformed medics at public events. The back of the piece is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver, and 1931-1932. It is also signed with a maker's mark for Robert Pringle & Sons, a silversmith producing out of Birmingham, England, at the time. This fob will make a lovely pendant and will look great worn on one of our Ancient Influences' married chains.

Details: The medal measures 0.91" by 1.39". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
