A bat and a squirrel scurry over the top of this fat jade pomegranate carving. Together, these three Chinese symbols create powerful messages of prosperity, family, and long life. This motif is often seen in art, wedding gifts, and New Year decorations. The beautifully carved pendant is pierced with an 18k gold jump ring bale. Circa 1900.
