Gemini Intaglio Fob in Gold & Platinum

Sadly, most jewelry with a Gemini motif is disappointing. One might go so far as to say these pieces are typically creepy and unpleasant. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we present this gorgeous intaglio fob engraved with Gemini twins. A square onyx, set on point, is held in a 14k gold frame with platinum accents. The frame is of classic Edwardian design, with scrolling bars banded in gold and platinum. Two elegantly coiffed women are depicted in profile, Gemini twins that are not at all creepy. The ladies are presented en habillé; they wear earrings, pearls, and elaborate bandeau headbands. This stylish fob finishes with a large gold jump ring and can be worn on a ribbon, a watch chain, or one of our Ancient Influences married chains. It's a lovely piece that can absolutely be enjoyed by people of any sun sign. Circa 1900.

Details.....The fob measures 1.32" by 1.49". In Very Good Antique Condition. Imperfections are to be expected in antique jewelry, it is considered part of the charm.
