Czech jewelry from the Art Deco period is wonderful. Gorgeous art glass in ornate jewelers brass settings makes wearable works of art. This stunning piece employs glass and brass to create the effect of a luxurious carnelian necklace. Small rectangles of carnelian-colored glass are set in engraved brass links. A glass teardrop hanging from a glass hexagon forms the central pendant. Each piece of glass is prong set, a quality detail. Affordable glamour. Circa 1930.
