Gorgeous Antique Diamond and Opal Edwardian Necklace

This necklace is so very beautiful. The top of the elaborate pendant is covered in antique diamonds and a bezel set tear drop opal is suspended from the bottom. The way the chain slides thru three rings on the top is a wonderful design, it looks pretty and assures the pendant always hangs perfectly. Edwardian.

This necklace has an appraisal from an Independent Gem Lab; the insurance replacement value is $6200

Diamond & Opal Details.....The 38 diamonds are a mix of Old European, Old Mine, and Rose Cut and have a total weight of .87cts. The natural diamonds are VS in clarity and H-K in color. The Opal is 6.13 carats with a pin-fire pattern and displays a lovely array of colors 

Details.....The pendant measures 1.75" long by 1.11" wide and the opal drop measures .84" x .46". The Platinum chain is 18" long. The necklace is in excellent vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of the charm.
