Gorgeous Chinese agate bead necklace with a fantastic carved pendant. The round blue agate beads are strung on oxidized sterling silver trombone chain. The pendant is carved in the round from a single piece of blue and gold agate; it depicts a small arboreal mammal clinging to a piece of golden fruit. I think the darling creature is a kinkajou. The necklace's substantial weight and smooth texture are very satisfying, and the agate is wonderfully cool to the touch. Circa 1920.
Details.....The necklace is 40" long, the pendant measures 1.91" by 1.25" by .53". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
