A glossy amethyst cabochon crowns this locket/pill box, crafted in sterling silver in the Balinese style. The small round box is decorated with elaborate silver beading and a bezel set amethyst. The hinged lid opens to reveal an open compartment, just the right size for storing all kinds of things. It closes tightly, with a security latch for good measure. The back of the box is plain and polished. A large bale allows this piece to be worn on a chain or ribbon. It's clean, functional, and ready to hold your ... stuff. Circa 1980.
