Sweetheart-Pink Bead Necklace Signed Miriam Haskell

This sweetheart-pink and gold necklace is like a Valentine from Miriam Haskell. Pale and hot pink art glass beads are set on swags of gold-tone metal leaves, and spangled with sparkling white rhinestones. The swag hangs on a strand of pink art glass beads that fastens with a floral clasp. The overall effect is of spun sugar candy flowers. This darling necklace is signed "Miriam Haskell" on the swag and the clasp. Circa 1950.

Miriam Haskell is one of the best known and most collectible names in 20th Century costume jewelry. She was an incredibly successful business woman, producing elaborate and highly detailed handmade jewelry for all of the brightest Hollywood Stars from the 1920s through the 60s.
