Amethyst Crystal in Sterling B. Knudsen Statement Ring

This fantastic Bent Knudsen Danish Modern statement ring displays an incredible amethyst crystal in sterling silver. The oversized, oval amethyst is a fresh, early spring shade of violet, shot through with sharp angles of crystalline matrix. The dreamy stone is set in a flat oval plaque, held in a simple bezel. The dramatic piece is finished with a flat, adjustable band. Marked "Sterling Denmark BENT K 204." Circa 1960.

Bent Knudsen was a Danish silversmith. He joined the Hans Hansen workshop in 1946, and in 1956 he and his wife Anni started their own workshop. The Knudsens' business achieved international success producing fine silver jewelry in an elegant style.

Details.....This ring is adjustable, it is currently about a size 8. The top of the ring measures 1.23" by 1.79", the band is 3.8mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
