The beads have a variety of facets and finishes, but all are a brilliant shade of blue. The decorative clasp is a bowl of bright blue crystal blossoms, accented by gold-tone leaves. Signed "Original by Robert" on the clasp's back. A striking statement piece with a thousand fascinating little details.. Circa 1960.

Original by Robert, popular from the 1940s to the 1970s, was a high-quality costume jewelry line known for its for its detailed craftsmanship. Often compared to Miriam Haskell, Original by Robert employed natural motifs, gilded filigree, faux pearls, art glass, and Austrian crystals.
