A heavily carved ring of celadon jade hangs on a pale green silk cord, accented by carnelian beads. The opaque jade ring is carved with a lively dragon fish, then suspended on green silk. A second smaller jade fish dangles below. The contrasting color of the carved carnelian bead accents adds warmth and depth to this wonderful Chinese necklace. The cord fastens in the back with an amber-colored button. Circa 1920.
Details.....The cord is 30" long, the disc measures 2.12" in diameter, the fish measures .96" by 1.71", the beads measure .62" and .76" in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
