A classic 1970s signet ring, with a carnelian intaglio set in Florentine finished 10k gold. The ring is big and bold, with a generous top that tapers to a wide band. The bright red oval carnelian is carved with the popular Roman soldier motif. The Florentine finish gives the top of the ring a glittery crosshatched look. Impressive finger coverage and large size give this ring powerful masculine energy. Circa 1970.
