A dreamy turn of the 20th Century festoon necklace. Amethyst teardrops and tiny pearls are suspended on swags of 14k gold chain. The amethysts are prong set on gold drops that hang from the chain. Wee pearls adorn each point of connection between drop and chain. Sculpted gold flourishes curl gracefully atop the central drop. The soft purple, pearl, and gold tones are delicate and feminine, and the necklace drapes gracefully over the collarbone. This necklace is the only excuse you need to dress up. Circa 1900.
Details.....The necklace is 16" long, and the center swag measures 6.25" wide and 1.1" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
