This fabulous domed rattle ring has a tribal aesthetic that recalls Tuareg metalwork. The round silver dome is engraved with a geometric design. It sits on a wide band engraved with an interesting pattern. This dramatic ring sits nicely on the hand, and it produces a soft rattle when you move. Circa 1960.
The Tuareg are traditionally a semi-nomadic tribe, indigenous to the Sahara desert. Their wonderful jewelry-making craftsmanship is well known.
Details.....Currently a size 9. The top of the ring measures 1.15" in diameter, the profile is 8.5mm tall, and the band is 4.6mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
