A sassy sterling silver bow brooch with a distinctly festive flavor. The silver ribbon is tied in a jaunty little bow. Round white rhinestones run down the bow's knot, and a flourish of emerald-cut green rhinestones trail off from the knot. The back of this pretty piece is signed Ciner. Circa 1950.
Emanuel Ciner founded his company producing fine jewelry in 1892. In 1931 he transitioned to making costume jewelry which was very fashionable at the time. Ciner made only high quality costume jewels, all the work was hand done by skilled craftsmen.
