Heavy Sterling Curb Necklace with Turquoise Clasp by Areias

An oversized sterling silver curb link chain, set with a magnificent chunk of turquoise. This bold necklace was made by artist Pat Areias. The glossy chain is composed of heavy, rounded links. The decorative clasp is bezel-set with a fabulous piece of bright blue turquoise, shattered with black matrix; wear the clasp in the front, the back, or jauntily, whatever strikes your fancy. This luxurious statement piece is signed on the back of the clasp, "Pat Areias 925." Circa 1990.

Pat Areias Sterling began in 1987 in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Her works is hand fabricated, with designs reflecting both Latin and Scandinavian aesthetics.

Details.....The necklace is 18" long, the chain is .61" wide, and the clasp measures 2.22" by 1.42". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it a part of their charm.
