Incredible 1970s Citrine & 18k Gold Drop Earrings

Incredible citrines with the color of fine Madeira wine are presented in these chic 18k gold earrings. The pear-shaped faceted gems are generous in size, with a total weight of 11.18cts. They sit in simple baskets that dangle from elongated bar tops, capturing lots of light with their movement. Locking lever backs make these earrings easy to wear and secure. Marked "750 MG542." Circa 1970.

These earrings come with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $3000.

Gem Details.....Two pear-shaped faceted citrines, one weighing 5.42cts, the other 5.76cts, are eye-clean and transparent. The gems both have Medium dark, Very Slightly Brownish, yellowish Orange (yO 6/3) color.

Details.....The earrings are 1.45" long, the citrines measure 9.3mm by 18mm. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
