Mid Century Three Strand Rhinestone Necklace by Kramer

This rhinestone necklace from Kramer is the apex of glittering Mid Century glamour. Three strands of alternating round and baguette stones form the choker-length piece. The icy-white crystals are prong set in silver-tone metal; the supple necklace flows sensually over the collarbone. Its decorative clasp is signed "Kramer N.Y." A collectible piece that would make a chic bridal necklace. Circa 1950.

Kramer of New York was founded by Louis Kramer in 1943, and the business produced beautiful, high-quality costume jewelry until sometime around 1980. Kramer was chosen to be Christian Dior's US manufacturer in the 1950s.
