What a wonderful Navajo cuff bracelet, every angle is rich with detail. This piece is hand crafted in sterling silver and embellished with turquoise, coral and elaborate silver work. The cuff is a wide silver band that tapers slightly as it curves around the wrist. Viewed from the top we see a fierce eagle, with wings and talons spread, and a large turquoise square in a sawtooth bezel. One side of the cuff is densely covered in applied leaves and flowers, the other is covered in applied leaves with turquoise and coral accents. Beads and spirals of wire and beading complete the design. This work of art is signed "EJ Sterling," possibly for Evelyne and Edward James. Circa 1980.
How can you tell if a cuff bracelet is your size? Measure the top of your wrist from side to side and compare with the inside measurement of the cuff. If this bracelet does not fit easily on your wrist it is not your size. Please do not bend or force the cuff, either the cuff or your wrist may be damaged. Instead, contact us to arrange a return or exchange. We will not return or exchange a bent or damaged cuff.
Details.....The cuff's exterior measures 3.17" by 2.38" and tapers from 1.45" to 1.15" wide. The interior measures 3.1" across with an approximate 7.5" inner circumference. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
