A large round locket, deeply engraved with an exuberant floral pattern. The front of the gold filled locket is very elaborate, its engraving is in great condition. Forget-Me-Nots represent true love, faithful companionship, and enduring memory, very appropriate symbolism for this piece. Its back is plain and polished. The interior is clean, with two frames and no glass. A fancy fleur de lis bale suspends the piece from a gold-filled rope chain. So lovely, a perfect Mother's Day gift. Circa 1900.
Details.....The locket measures 2" in diameter. The chain is 22" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
