This radiant sterling silver and Baltic amber ring was made in Gdańsk, Poland. Gdańsk is well known for its production of lovely amber jewelry, and this ring is a fine example. A round amber cabochon sits in a shadow box, haloed by rings of polished and oxidized silver. The amber has wonderful inclusions, the petrified pollen and fragments of vegetation are well defined with high color contrast. Triangular shoulders are applied to a slim band that is hallmarked for Gdańsk, Poland. Circa 1980.
Details.....Currently a size 8.25. The top measures 16.5mm in diameter, the band is 2.2mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels we consider it part of the charm.
