Tendrils of brilliant fuchsia and silvery-gray Swarovski crystals swirl around a dazzling flower in this rare Eisenberg Ice corsage brooch. The round and marquise-cut stones create exuberant spirals. Loops of gold-tone "ribbon" curl around the fuchsia-petaled flower. Fuchsia crystals and gold-tone metal set this stunning brooch apart; both are unusual and sought after, features in Eisenberg jewels. The brooch's pin fastens with a secure rollover clasp. Marked "Eisenberg Ice" in block letters on its back. Circa 1960.
Eisenberg & Sons is an esteemed American jewelry company that makes high-quality costume jewelry. Jonas Eisenberg established the company in Chicago in 1914, offering high-end womenswear. But, it was the clothing's ornate buttons and brooches that seized public attention. In the 1930s, the company launched a line of jewelry that used dazzling Swarovski crystals in innovative designs called Eisenberg Ice.
Details: The brooch measures 2.05" by 2.75". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
