An irresistible set of vintage pansy brooches by NYE. The naturalistic, three-dimensional flowers are thoughtfully crafted in sterling silver. Oxidization highlights the blossoms' incredible detail. The back of the larger brooch is stamped "sterling" and with the Stuart Nye makers mark. Pansies symbolize platonic love. A wonderful present for a mother, or a gift shared with a sister or best friend. Circa 1940.
