Sterling Negligee Necklace with Amethyst Beads

A saucy negligee necklace of sterling silver chain studded with amethyst beads. The fancy chain is composed of long silver bars linked by tiny rings; the chain connects in front, ending in two asymmetric drops. Bright purple beads are stationed around the front of the necklace, and they dangle from the drops. There is no clasp, the chain is long enough to fit over the head. This is a classic Art Deco style with a chic, modern sensibility. Circa 1930.
