Striking Art Moderne Old Mine Cut Diamond Engagement Ring

A fabulous antique diamond is displayed in this fierce Art Moderne engagement ring. The .36ct old mine cut diamond has the funky faceting that makes these old stones so special. Two-tone 14k gold amplifies the ring's striking geometry; the center stone sits in four white gold trefoil prongs, raised above engraved white gold bars that bisect the top of the ring. Two arrows are engraved in the ring's yellow-gold shoulders, pointing towards a dramatically scrolled gallery. Art Moderne developed out of 1920s Art Deco, emphasizing Deco's bold architectural elements. It is a striking and dynamic style that creates very interesting jewelry. Circa 1930.

Details.....Currently a size 5.75. The top of the ring measures 15.3mm by 6.3mm, and the band is 1.2mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
