An exceptional example of the graceful and feminine lavalier pendant so popular at the Turn of the 20th Century. An exquisite 14k gold trefoil is rendered in flowing Art Nouveau whiplash lines, with a high carat gold flash that gives it a fabulous bright yellow look. This pendant's filigree flourishes are studded with half drilled American river pearls, then finished with a classic baroque American River pearl hanging pendant-style from the bottom. Circa 1900.

This is a truly American piece of jewelry. It is signed by Krementz, an important Newark, New Jersey jewelry manufacturer prolific in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The American river pearls used in this pendant came from either the Mississippi or Tennessee Rivers.

Details......The chain is 16" long. The pendant measures 1.05" wide and 2.09" long with bail. In Excellent Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
