This Victorian Renaissance Revival enamelled brooch is exquisite. A silver gilt dome is delicately pierced and engraved, then decorated with red, white, yellow, and blue enamel. A faceted garnet smoulders at the heart of the dome. Small gilded beads ring the brooch's edge. The brooch fastens with a classic Victorian c-clasp. A beautifully crafted piece that recalls the thrilling Tudor court. Circa 1850.
Details.....The brooch measures 1.47" in diameter. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
