Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Solitaire Belcher Ring

This delightful Victorian diamond solitaire ring is engraved with a charming flourish. The (approximate) .50ct old mine cut diamond has the unique faceting pattern we love in these antique stones. The sparkling diamond is displayed in an 18k gold belcher setting with eight integrated prongs and a fluted, petal-like head. Wide, flared shoulders are engraved with a pretty little sprig of stylized flora. The shoulders taper into a flat band. A romantic antique engagement ring that is as wearable as it is lovely. Circa 1880.

Details.....Currently a size 6. The ring's head measures 6mm in diameter, the shoulders are 4mm wide, tapering to a 3mm band. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
