This sterling silver English medal fob commemorates the occasion of Betty Langton dominating a track & field meet in the spring of 1932. The round medal is embellished with scrolling at its cardinal points. A shield sits on a stippled field at the center of the medal, hand engraved with the initials "BL." The back of the medal is engraved with the personal inscription "Betty Langton Won High Jump 15-4-32." This fun fob will look lovely worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.

The back of the medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1931. It bears the maker's mark "RP" for Birmingham silver smith Robert Pringle & Sons.
