Handsome Pinstriped Sterling Box Pendant

A very handsome Edwardian sterling silver box pendant. The small octagonal box has a hinged lid with a swanky pinstriped exterior and a mirrored interior. The back of the box is plain and polished, and the piece hangs from a jump ring bale. Is this pendant a locket? A pill box? A compact? Whatever could it possibly hold? Anything of an appropriate dimension that you like. Marked inside "Sterling" and "Hallmark." Hallmark was a private label for the United Jewelers Association. Wear this box on a chain or a ribbon, or add it to your chatelaine. It's clean, functional, and ready for holding ... stuff. Circa 1910.

Details.....The pendant measures 1.26" by 1.47" with a depth of .50". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
