Double Dragon Scarlet Cinnabar Bangle

This scarlet cinnabar bangle is elaborately carved with a sinuous double dragon design. In Chinese symbolism dragons are a symbol of power, great luck, and strength. Double dragons must be doubly powerful. Circa 1960.
