This super Mod Lucite bangle is like a bracelet's ghost. The extra wide, slightly asymmetric bangle is clear, colorless, and almost totally translucent. Lucite keeps the oversized bangle lightweight. Very Mary Quant. Circa 1960.
Lucite is an engineering plastic trademarked in the United States in the late 1930s. Light and translucent, it is often used as an alternative to glass.
