Lavish "Pearl" & Crystal Bracelet by Miriam Haskell

Lavish bursts of "seed pearls" and crystals embellish this highly detailed bracelet from the incomparable Miriam Haskell. Layers of gold-tone filigree form five elaborate cushion-like panels. The panels are decorated with sprays of Haskell's signature faux pearls, with their baroque shape and silken texture, radiating out from a sparkling prong-set crystal. Each panel is linked by a pearl-wired hinge, and the piece fastens with a folding clasp and safety chain. The bracelet is signed "Miriam Haskell" and displays her instantly recognizable aesthetic. Circa 1950.

Miriam Haskell is one of the best known and most collectible names in 20th Century costume jewelry. She was an incredibly successful business woman, producing elaborate and highly detailed handmade jewelry for all of the brightest Hollywood Stars from the 1920s through the 60s.
