Bracelet and earrings with designs inspired by Pre-Columbian motifs, crafted in vibrant stone inlay and mixed metals set in oval panels of sterling silver. The screw back earrings display faces rendered in colorful stone and gold, copper and silver. The bracelet displays vivacious abstract designs in its silver panels. The panels are gently curved and linked by silver rings, creating a comfortable fit around the wrist. The bracelet has a hidden slide clasp and a safety chain for added security. The back of the bracelet is signed "Nestor Heche en Taxco," marked "Sterling Metals," and stamped with the Mexican eagle mark indicating sterling silver.

This set dates from the 1940s, a high point in silver jewelry design in Mexico. The Mexican city of Taxco drew jewelry artists from all over the world.
